Right now I’m job hunting and it’s the most grueling process ever! I go store to store trying to fill out applications, they all say to do it online, so I fill out all these applications online, answering the same goddamn 50 questions a billion times and each time it reminds me of how little skills and education and experience I have. And of course I don’t hear back from ANY of them. Then I go to Craigslist and everyone wants resumes and cover letters, which are just pieces of PR bullshit. So I spend hours and hours trying to make myself sound good when all I’ve done is work at Arbys and a church. And the worst part is that I know I would be better than half the employees these stupid stores have! But you don’t see that in a resume. You see “key words” like: “motivated” and “team player” and all that bullshit. I just want a fucking job! Sometimes it seems like I’ll be lucky to even get a job at fucking McDonalds. I guess everyone has to go through this, but I just HATE HATE HATE all the PR bullshit and wasted work…I found this site by typing “fuck life” into my search bar. How pathetic. Not having a job is so degrading. ugh. fml

i have been working as a cook for a couple of months and they have needed a night time manager since i have started there, because some one for the morning shift has to come in to close up and lock up. so i have been busting my ass to show them i can do the job. well now a whole bunch of people got fired and a couple more have quit and now they need me for the mornings. so i guess there goes my manager job

I got a job after college, and my boyfriend got me the job. So his friend, my boss starts hitting on me and gives me overtime in return. I moved and got laid off. It’s been two years and I can;t file a harassment claim.

As a cadet in the military I am NOT supposed to be sleeping with one of my senior officers…well I was. Because I’m a cadet I am automatically roomed with another cadet (who happens to be married and her husband is deployed). After deciding that this officer was “the one” and I was willing to quit the program for him, the other cadet left her phone in the room while she went for a job. I couldnt help but notice that MY officer was sending her the same texts he was sending me asking if she missed him and blah blah blah. Now she’s my roommate and since we are all breaking laws, I cant say a damn thing to anyone. I hate her. FUCK MY LIFE.

this is the 5 th week i havent received my salary at work.all in all my boss owes me nearly 8,000 big ones. 2,600 in back salary. i d tell him to pay up, but with this economy its hard to pull off a stunt like that and get away with it. i ve been welding steel fence s with a friend for a $10 per hr wage just to make my minimum payments. could be much worse,no doubts there! damn it! looking like i just need to cut my loses and enroll in school.

This job sucks I do all the dirty work the bosses dont want to do, but as they are home with their families I am closing the business at late night hours opening on the weekends… this job suck ass……..
