Worry when they don’t feed you, when they don’t put a roof on your head, when they don’t take you to the hospital when you’re sick, and when they don’t even clothe you at all.
Do you know how many kids have only ONE pair of broken jeans and a ratty tshirt that they wear every day of their lives for a whole year? Thousands. And, do you know how many kids don’t have any clothes of their own at all? Thousands more. You probably own ten pairs of jeans and just wanted these out of sheer vanity.
Learn to be more respectful, and more appreciative of what you DO have in life, because one day you may have nothing at all and then you will measure life only by the things you have and not by what it really is about.
If I were your parents… OOf, I’d give away any other jeans you have and make you wear your favorite pair until it’s worn out and broken, and when you come asking for a new one, I’d tell you: NO, I’m not buying you a new pair of jeans, if you want a new pair you go out and WORK for the money that’s going to pay for them, you little brat!
