Ok, so I typed a joke into a school calculator and left it there for someone else to find. It was a line from “New Math” by Bo Burnham. Well, the teacher found it and, not knowing it was me, addressed the class. He said, though it wasn’t a bad joke, it was still considered “destruction of property.” He said that either he’d take away the calculators unless the person that did it either was turned in or confessed. I’m not gonna confess because I didn’t do anything wrong. The joke wasn’t even a vulgar line. And it’s not destruction of property, cuz I didn’t hurt it and I didn’t program anything… I’m not confessing and I don’t think anyone saw me.
